Sugarcreek: where wood byproducts become value.
The ePallet Sugarcreek facility runs the company’s dedicated mulching and sawdust operation. Wood fiber that other manufacturers discard is sorted, processed, and converted into value-added products — animal bedding for regional farms, landscaping mulch, firewood, and erosion-control materials for stormwater management and roadside stabilization. Nothing leaves Sugarcreek as waste.

Initiatives we run today
Sustainability we operate, not market.
Each of these is a live operating program — running across our facilities every day, audited by EcoVadis, and documented in the rebate and reporting packages that go to our largest customers. The wood we use is 100% recyclable and 100% renewable — none of it needs to see a landfill.
Zero wood-waste manufacturing
Every Ohio facility is engineered for zero-landfill operation. Cut-shop offcuts and damaged components return to the supply stream — none of it leaves the gate as trash.
Wood-byproduct recycling
Sawdust and wood fiber become animal bedding, firewood, landscaping mulch, and erosion-control silt socks for stormwater and roadside-stabilization projects.
End-of-life pallet recovery
Retired pallets are sorted, repaired, and returned to circulation. Anything beyond repair becomes mulch, biomass fuel, or firewood — never a landfill liability.
Sustainable forest sourcing
Standing-timber programs work with regional forest-landowner partners who follow third-party sustainable-forestry standards. New growth replaces what we harvest.
